We are a small business here in New Zealand specialising in custom and slow-made illustrated goods that aim to make you feel oh-so-special to receive. We hope you find something here that brings a little joy.

Meet the Maker

I’m Jodeanne, the Chief Maker and resident Crazy Dog Lady at Little Rover Paper Co.. I started LR as a creative outlet and a way to reconnect with my passion of “making” after finding myself feeling unfulfilled in my day job. I found that in trying to do more of what made me happy, I was also able to spread a bit of that joy by creating unique pieces for others. Over time, LR became a combination of everything I love -  creating beautiful things, calligraphy, paper goods, and DOGS.

 

Who is Little Rover?

Rover was the puppy I begged my parents for when I was a kid (I was always destined to be a crazy dog lady). Sadly, he crossed the rainbow bridge at the end of 2020, but he lived 17 long and happy years by our side. Rover was a living, breathing reminder to enjoy what life has to offer (in his case, FOOD). Although he’s no longer next to us wagging his tail, his memory serves as a beacon for me if I ever start to lose sight of what’s important in life.
